Looking for something to do with the kids over Spring Break? Make tracks to the Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum this March for the 4th Annual Spring Break Model Train Display. Stop by the Grand Lobby of the Santa Fe Depot from March 13th-17th, as members of the Central Texas Area Model Railroaders (CentraMod) will be running multiple train layouts and be on hand to talk about their hobby and the work they have done to complete these model train layouts.
Visitors can enjoy the trains during the regular museum hours, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. There is no fee to view the model train exhibit. Regular admission charges apply to view the rest of the museum. The lobby will be closed Saturday morning 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. due to the Wizarding Express event.
The museum is located in the Santa Fe Depot at 315 West Avenue B in downtown Temple. The museum is open 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Tuesday – Saturday. For more information about this event or the museum, please call 254.298.5172.
