Over Labor Day Weekend, Belton hosted the Central Texas State Fair at the Bell County Expo Center. CenTexFun.com was there every step of the way.
The fair got off to a great start with $1 Carnival Rides and a free show on Thursday night. Matt and The Herdsmen kicked things off with Josh Ward bringing his honky-tonk country to the stage
Friday night, things got a little crazy. The Twisted Metal Destruction Derby did not disappoint with three great rounds of car crushing mayhem. Lubbock’s Grant Gilbert warmed up the crowd out on the stage. By the time Koe Wetzel and the Konvicts hit the stage, what turned out to be probably the largest crowd of the weekend was in a frenzy.
Saturday night, the bulls entered the arena for some PBR action. The kids got in to the act with some always entertaining Mutton Bustin’. Afterwards, long time fair visitor Casey Donahew entertained the crowd with his high energy country show.
And finally, Sunday night the bulls came back for an encore performance. To finish things up, up-and-coming artist Mason Lively played and one of Texas’ favorite artist, Wade Bowen wrapped up the weekend with an amazing show.
Throughout the weekend, we met many of you and you asked where you could see your photo! As promised, here are some of the smiles we caught!
