We are your one stop for news on entertainment in Bell, Coryell, and Williamson counties, plus select events within a short drive from central Texas. We cover everything fun in central Texas from outdoor festivals, live music concerts, rodeos & fairs to fun roadtrips, where the best local food is, & when’s the next local race or 5K.

Whether it’s a Texas music show or a Halloween haunted house fundraiser, we’re always looking for what’s going on in the Belton, Temple, Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, Little River-Academy, Bruceville Eddy, Troy, Salado, Jerrell, and Georgetown areas. We’ll soon be expanding our coverage to the Waco and the surrounding McLennan county areas.

If you have a non-profit event and would like it included on our calendar, please submit it a minimum of two weeks in advance.

If you have a commercial event, please contact us in a timely manner prior to the affair and our promotional staff will be in contact.

After nearly 3 decades in the broadcast & entertainment worlds, “PC” made central Texas his home. He created CenTexFun.com in 2015 because he saw no one was adequately covering the local entertainment & other fun things to do right here in his own backyard. He enjoys live music, fun times, and good food!

The author of “The Transplant Mom”, Aili Jones is a mom of three kids who keep her on her toes. She moved with her family to Temple, TX in August of 2017 for her husband’s VA job. While moving 1,800 miles was not a life-long plan for them, they wouldn’t have it any other way. Aili has learned that at heart she loves helping other “transplant” moms. She writes this column with the intention of bringing a smile with her humor and a way to include everyone in enjoying the local area of central Texas.
