Making it in the music industry is a hard road to travel. For some, a little adversity is enough to stop them in their tracks. But for local artist, Holly Tucker, her faith in her ability, support of her loyal fans, and her dedication to leaving it all on stage each and every time have helped her overcome life’s adversity. Two years after releasing her hit CD, “Steel,” and learning many lessons along the way, Holly released her latest offering, “You’re Gonna Know My Name” today. It is available at stores and streaming services.
To celebrate the accomplishment, Holly and her band played a concert at the Beltonian Theater in downtown Belton, Texas, just down the road from her hometown of Waco. There were cookies and cupcakes for everyone and each person in attendance got a signed copy of the new CD. Holly’s favorite companion, Maverick, the seven-month old mini border-collie was on hand to entertain at the merchandise booth. Holly entertained the crowd with songs new and old, including a few of the songs she performed as a member of Team Blake on the TV show, The Voice, six years ago.
