The Belton Area Chamber of Commerce is kicking off the weeklong 4th of July Celebration with a Downtown Street Party on Saturday, June 29 featuring live music, food trucks, craft beer and wine, games and fun for all. This non-ticketed event is open to the public at no charge with a goal of bringing people together to celebrate in the Downtown Belton area.
In past years the Chamber has hosted a Kick-off BBQ lunch in Yettie Polk Park and a Rodeo Rendezvous sponsor party to start the weeklong celebration, but those events have been combined, expanded and enhanced this year to include more activities on a Saturday evening to allow more people to participate.
Live musical entertainment will be performing on two stages throughout the evening, with the main stage located on Central Avenue in front of the Historic Bell County Courthouse. The Pavilion located at The Gin will be used as the second stage.
Featured performers on the Vista Stage on Central include award winning country music star Holly Tucker, presented by Extraco Banks; Michael Carubelli presented by Gunter Financial Services; Jay White and the Blues Commanders presented by Moore Air; and a Tejano style band, Grupo Pression from Dallas. Other performers on the Pavilion Stage at the Gin include the 1st Cavalry Rock Band from Fort Hood, Johnny Bohlin and the Fair Weather Winds, and the Lucas Wooley Band.
And for FIVE lucky folks and their guests, they’ll get a personal meet & greet with country artist Holly Tucker! Register here for your chance to win!
